Yearly classes at the Granarystudio.


The Granary Studio is located in the pretty village of Owslebury near to historic Winchester.

The Granary Studio on the edge of the South Downs National Park

The Granary Studio runs small inspirational classes with experienced tutors are our speciality, the principal tutor being Susan Chapman who has many years of experience, teaching students from total beginners to level 5, degree level, in all textiles disciplines. The Granary to which the Studio is attached is on the edge of the South Downs National Park. the surrounding countryside is beautiful, with many walks. The Pilgrims Way passes along the back wall of the studio and the Monarch’s way is close by.
The National Trust property Hinton Ampner is just a few miles away and some great traditional pubs can be found in this and also in neighbouring villages. A list of local B and B’s is available on request

The easiest way to book onto classes or workshop is to use the website. You can also call on 01962 777480 and leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Don’t forget to leave your contact details in the message! Tea, coffee and biscuits are available throughout the classes and are included in the course fee. Students are requested to bring their own lunch where appropriate.

If you are booked on to a class and need to cancel your place, please let me know as soon as possible so I can offer your place to another student. You are of course able to sell the place on to one of your friends… Please note that a refund can only be made if a replacement student can be found and a £10 administration fee may be payable. I reserve the right to change or cancel workshops if necessary.
