Description

The day will start with an overview of what Procreate can do.

It will cover types of stylus or use of fingers for drawing.

I will show Examples of my work, and how I use Procreate as a tool.

We will cover

• Gallery – new canvas
• Right hand menu – 5 buttons – what they do.
• Finger gestures
• A look at the advanced menu options and what they do.

Two or three tasks will be set that use a variety of the features, using worksheets to help.

Then – time to work on own ideas and help individually.

Round up – any questions arising?

Before the class : You need to download the Procreate App (£10 approx) and maybe have a play with it!  Also, you need a stylus. The Apple Pencil is definitely the best – but really pricey. See separate sheet for more info.

Procreate is an amazing design tool for all artists, available only on an

Apple IPAD. The cost is just £10 for lifetime usage.

Use it to create designs for print on demand sites like Spoonflower and

Contrado, design in repeat on it, change colourways, reverse or mirror

designs and create multiple layers – all of which can be altered

individually.

Take photos and alter them, create colour palettes from photos, make your

own brushes, and even animate your work. Procreate does all this and more.

This beginners session will show you some of the potential, and get you

started with a number of useful to know ways to control your work and make

new designs.

Payment

ProCreate for Beginners fee is £85 You should pay the deposit of £45 to secure your place. On receipt of the deposit you will receive a confirmation email. The balance should be paid two weeks before the start of the course

Further Information  Please bring your own lunch as there is no shop in the village, but tea, coffee and biscuits are provided throughout the day.
