Connections

Description

For my whole adult life I have collected words that inspire me, that challenge me, that touch my soul and influence my work.  Here I reveal some of them, words that have been written by others, words that I have come across but whose authors are unknown, and words that I have written myself over the years.

This book illustrates some of the work I have made as a result of being influenced by these words, sometimes just in a sketchbook, sometimes a collection, and more often drawn, painted, printed and stitched textile pieces.
