This is a two day class. Students will learn the basics of Eco Printing using plants and leaves of the season to produce a series of samples. A broad spectrum of colours will be achieved with a variety of prints.. Tuition will be given as to the plants which will produce the most successful results for the season, and the correct use of mordants and methods of modifying those colours to achieve a whole rainbow of samples thus debunking the myth that eco printing produces only muddy or insipid results which do not last..Students will learn Caroline’s methods , mainly boiling fabric bundles , to create some fabulous results.
