weekend bonanza!
we have one space left for tomorrow’s two day class, our weekend bonanza at a reduced rate because it is our first print making course at the studio and we want to make sure the studio is set up so it is user friendly! we will welcome feedback and in return you will have both resident tutors leading you through some design exercises, print making activities and finally you will stitch your results into a panel or cushion etc… if you are interested please phone 01962 777480. we will supply most everything, just bring fabrics papers etc of your choice and maybe any favourite marking tools, maybe your sewing machine…

our first classes fill up!
lots of students registered and we have our first full class with several having only one space, so we are off to a good start… so looking forward to seeing students using our studio

hurray, the studio is open, lots of visitors, who seemed to love the amazing studio space…lots of sign ups to courses too… now it all begins!
studio is nearly ready!
well the work on the studio is nearly finished and it is looking fantastic, I am thrilled with it .. .the sink has arrived today and will be fitted at the end of the week… just waiting for the floor paint to dry …. if you want to see what we have been working on for the last month then please do come to our Grand Opening ..
it is on March 28th from 4-6 at the Granary Studio… there will be tea, coffee cake and fizz.. look forward to seeing you there…
if you want to make a day of it, there is the World Textiles Day in Wickham at the Wickham centre from 10-5…free entry! This takes the form of a marketplace showing and selling textiles from asia, africa and china. there are two talks, one at 11 and the other at 2 which cost only £2 each.. then you can pop into our studio on the way home!

The timetable has now gone live on this site! We hope you will enjoy the range of courses we have planned for you… there may be some glitches and we will be working on it for a while yet so please bear with us, but we wanted you to get this information A.S.A.P.

Grand Opening and Timetable very Close
Well it is nearly here, we have what we think is an exciting variety of classes for you.
Just uploading it all onto the side which will take a few days, but it is half term from our college teaching, so hopefully it will be live by the end of next week.
However, I can announce that we will host a grand opening of the Granary Studio on Saturday 28 March at 4pm. There will be coffee, tea, cake and fizz, and an opportunity to see what we have been getting ready, so that your classes can run.
The courses will start directly after the Easter break with the Day-a-Month courses starting at the beginning of October. We have responded to the results of the questionnaire and provided a real mixture of day sessions and longer courses.
We will be running a five day summer school in mid July which we are very excited about. So do have a look at the timetable when it goes live in a few days time, we are sure there is something for everyone.

Our new programme of workshops/courses starting in April 2015 at our delightful Granary Studio in Hampshire, U.K. In the meantime please enjoy our free taster sessions which you will find on the buttons at the top of this page.
