CLASS FORMAT
On Friday evening we will begin by learning machine applique techniques with some
sample work.
Saturday morning I will discuss how to change a design picture into suitable applique
patterns. Following this you will prepare your ‘Exotic Bird’ and we will get to the fun part of stitching him using the techniques we have learned already.
This is a great opportunity to have a look at some of the embroidery stitches
on your machine you may never go near. I discovered some unexpectedly nice ones!
By Sunday we should be ready to embellish; with some hand stitching, adding buttons and beads.
Then finally an edging and hanging sleeve
