Indigo the Natural way
Enjoy two days of experimenting with this truly magical dye in a variety of ways. During this workshop you will learn how to set up, balance and correct a natural indigo vat using the 123 recipe developed by Michel Garcia. There will be an option to make your own personal vat which can be taken home at the end of the workshopif desired( bring your own bucket with lid!)We will be experimenting with a wide variety of resist techniques including stitched shibori, clamping, tyeing and folding to achieve a variety of effects. We will also be combining the indigo with rust and over dyeing with other natural dyes to extend the possibilities of results.
