Doodle Balls. Throughout lockdown many people used the time wisely finishing outstanding projects and creating new work. For me my mojo deserted me totally, projects that needed my attention didn’t get it but still my hands needed to be kept busy.
We have all doodled on paper at one point or another either as a boredom buster or when we are concentrating and thinking about something else. Taking my pen on a journey across the paper. A few years ago I made a selection of felted balls with a project in mind that I never quite got to, one of those projects that needed my attention but didn’t get it! I have to say I didn’t find making the felt balls overly easy and they were really time consuming. Those balls then became very useful as I embarked on my journey doodling with needle and thread. I enjoyed this new aspect of stitching with my needle through the felt, stitching without a thought and with no plan. I couldn’t believe how addictive they became, now when I have a little spare time or just need something to keep my hands busy these are great fun to do!

Payment
Doodle Balls fee is £160. You should pay a deposit of £80 to secure your place. On receipt of the deposit you will receive a confirmation email. The balance of the fee should be paid two weeks before the start of the class.
Information
This is a two day class. On the first day you will make the felt balls using Clare’s wet felting techniques. And on the second day you will start to stitch into them by hand.
