Ecoprinting Masterclass Description

A two-day masterclass for those who have some experience of Eco-printing, working with both fabric. Using a selection of different fabrics, participants will learn about the process of Eco printing, the types of leaves which produce the best results and the different ways in which the leaves can be processed. They will have the opportunity to work with a variety of mordants which can radically alter the outcomes of the prints.

At the end of the two days it is anticipated that students will go away with a great selection of samples and some ideas about how to take the techniques further. Caroline provides all the equipment, mordants, dyes etc. but not fabric.

2 days    Sat/sun 25&26 July 2026. Each day runs from 10-4 and tea, coffee, and biscuits are available throughout the day.

Payment

The workshop fee is £140. Payment can be made by credit/bank card upon booking.  If you pay via bank transfer then your place will be confirmed once payment has been received. There will be a £5 materials charge, payable direct to Caroline

notebook, pen and camera phone for recording process

1 metre of cotton sheeting , or preferably old washed cotton sheets

Apron and gloves, this workshop can be messy

a materials fee of £5 is payable direct to Caroline,  to cover  the remaining materials which she will supply

don’t forget your lunch as there is no shop in the village
