Lynn Onions is starting two new six week courses.
Slow Stitching 21 April-26 May, either 2.30-5.30 or 6.30-9.30. You will be experimenting with different threads, fabrics and stitches to create pages for a hand stitched book. There will also be a series of sewing related projects, needle case, pin cushion, scissor case etc. which you can complete at your leisure. Give them as gifts to your sewing friends or save them for yourself. Just come along and enjoy the pleasure of creating something by hand.
Modern Quilting 2 June- 14 July, either 2.30-5.30 or 6.30-9.30
An introduction to modern quilting and patchwork. Bold colours and simple backgrounds make stunning modern quilts. Lynn will introduce you to the different techniques used in patchwork, applique and quilting, you will make samples which will be large enough to be made into a small wall hanging, or cushion.The designs can be developed in to full size quilts if desired
